What areas does Susan service?

Susan is based in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and services the eastern suburbs, CBD and lower north shore areas. If you live outside Susan’s service area e-mail Susan to discuss your brief susan@susanshellerhome.com.au

 

What happens if I live outside Susan’s service area?

Which homewares retailers will be included?

Susan will craft your bespoke Personal Interiors Shopping package based on your brief and budget. Susan’s ‘little black book’ of trade discounts includes over 50 stores, wholesalers and industry specialists, including Anibou, James Said, Studio Alm, MCM House, Space Furniture, James Lane, The Wood Room, Jardan, Coco Republic, Pottery Barn, Camerich, Parterre, Pigotts, Orient House, Victoria Collison, Cadrys, Carpet Court, International Floorcoverings, Palmer and Penn, Winnings, Indigo Jones, English Tapware Company, Candana, Keeler Harware and Living Edge to name a few.

 

Can I buy everything at my favourite interiors store, even if it’s not in Susan’s “little black book”?

It’s your shopping trip and Susan will be delighted to visit your favourite stores with you. If your favourite store does not fall within Susan’s ‘little black book’ of trade discounts she will make this clear upfront. 

 

Do I get the full trade discount on my purchases?

Yes – Susan passes on 100% of the trade discount to you at stores within her ‘little black book’. Susan does not receive any commissions and you can rest assured that her advice is genuine.

 

How do I pay for my purchases?

Payment for goods and delivery is made on the day of your shopping trip directly to the store or wholesaler. Most suppliers will accept credit card. 

 

Can I request a longer consultation and shorter shopping trip or vice versa?

Yes. Susan will create a Personal Interiors Shopping package that is bespoke to your particular needs.

 

Can I conduct part or all of the service remotely?

Yes of course! Susan is happy to conduct the consultation, shopping trip and follow up using facetime or zoom. This service is particularly convenient for clients who live interstate or outside the greater Sydney area.

 

What if I want to shop on a weekend and take my partner?

Many wholesalers and specialists are closed on weekends, but retail stores generally remain open. Let Susan know your request when you make your booking and she will do her best to accommodate what you need.Email Susan to discuss your brief susan@susanshellerhome.com.au

 

 

What if I don’t want to spend a lot?

That’s ok. Susan’s advice and style covers all price points and there will still be savings to enjoy. 

 

 

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

'Bespoke Personal Interiors Shopping Day' refers to a five hour day generally from 10am to 3pm. Unless otherwise agreed this includes a one hour pre-shopping consultation followed by four hours of personal shopping and 30 minute video follow up consultation.

Full payment is required upfront to secure your booking. Make your booking here

Refunds and cancellations for Susan’s Personal interiors Shopping service

Susan does not provide refunds for change of mind. We understand that our clients have busy lives and that you may need to reschedule your appointment. We require 48 hours’ notice for rescheduling requests.  Outside of this time the full fee will be charged.

 

Shopping refunds

Refunds for items purchased whilst shopping in store is the responsibility of the client. As such any refund request should be made directly to the store or supplier.

 

 

Late and Missed Sessions

If you are running late to your shopping day this time will be taken from your appointment and we will continue with the time we have. If you miss your session and do not notify Susan at least 24hrs hours ahead of your session, no refund will be issued or reschedule offered.

Retailer Product Availability

Susan cannot guarantee product availability, at the time of your session. We can only shop for what is available at the time of your session.

 

For Video Personal Shopping Sessions, Susan cannot guarantee the online retailer will still have items in stock at the time of your purchase. Availability of items included in the videos are checked prior to delivery of the videos to ensure the product is available at the time of sharing the video with you.

Susan is not responsible for any items that are purchased in store or online from retailers. 

Limitation of Liability

Susan Sheller Home takes no legal responsibility for any loss or accidents during any style session at any location including, but not limited to:

 

  • your home or location where your service takes place

  • in store or whilst shopping

  • By booking a service, you agree to take personal liability for your actions and belongings during any style session.

Susan Sheller Home takes no legal responsibility for any goods purchased during a Personal Interiors Shopping session.
